Cinamour Announces MIPCOM Deals

CANNES, October 9: Cinamour Entertainment has announced a
batch of first-day MIPCOM deals, including the placement of its martial arts
fantasy/adventure feature film Forbidden Warrior in the U.S.

The film is slated to air on one of Rainbow Media’s suite of
HD channels. Also announced today was a deal with Daro Film Distribution for
the Asian rights, excluding Japan, Indonesia and Malaysia, to the wildlife
documentary series Saving the Endangered Species. The European home video rights to the special The Secret, about UFOs, have been picked up by Jupiter
Communications. And O3 Productions acquired the Middle Eastern satellite rights
to the 3×50-minute Haunted Hotels.

Other deals include CanWest Global’s acquisition of the
Canadian cable rights to America’s Hardest Bounty Hunters, Men & Motors’ picked up of the 90-minute U.S.
Bounty Hunters Raw
, and Claxson’s pickup of
Alien Gods and Alien
Technology
for Latin America.
