CIMG Seals Asian Deals, Unveils Format Slate

CANNES: Comcast International Media Group (CIMG) is showcasing a range of new formats in Cannes this week and has announced a host of licensing deals in the Asia Pacific.

In Australia, Seven Network went for several E! Entertainment Television specials, as well as the second season of Sexiest. National Geographic Channel in Australia and New Zealand picked up the G4 show Human Wrecking Balls. Joongang Media Q in Korea went for The Style Network’s reality series Running in Heels for its newly rebranded QTV channel. In the Philippines, Velvet picked up the latest batch of E! specials and E! True Hollywood Story and the latest seasons of The Soup, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Denise Richards: It’s Complicated, plus additional reality series including Running in Heels. Lifestyle Network took a slate of The Style Network content, including Ruby, Peter Perfect, Clean House, How Do I Look? and Split Ends

CIMG is attending MIPCOM with five new format titles: E!’s Reality Hell and Perfect Catch and The Style Network’s Instant Beauty Pageant , plus Baggage and Fake or Real from Comcast Entertaiment Productions (CEP), which specializes in reality, doc and entertainment programming.
