Chorion’s Mr. Men Show Heads to France

LONDON/NEW YORK, April 3:
Chorion’s The Mr. Men Show is
making its French debut on France 5 on April 12, which follows on successful
premieres on Cartoon Network in the U.S. and Five’s Milkshake! in the U.K.

Based on the original Mr.
Men
and Little Miss books created by Roger Hargreaves, The Mr. Men
Show
is the first animated sketch
comedy for kids. The 52×11-minute series features a cast of 25 characters,
which have all been redrawn and updated with a contemporary feel to suit the
new style of animation. Further deals have been inked for the show with ABC in
Australia, Hop! in Israel and Tiji in France.

Geraint Marsh, the senior
VP of TV sales at Chorion, said: “The Mr. Men Show was one of the most viewed programs at MIPCOM Jr
2007 and broadcasters across the globe are showing great interest in the show.
We’re delighted that the series is making its French debut and we will be
signing further deals for the television series at MIPTV.”
