Chaotic Beverage Rolls Out in Canada

NEW YORK/TORONTO: U & Me Marketing has released a canned beverage in retailers across Canada based on 4Kids Entertainment’s animated series and trading-card game brand Chaotic.

The drink is available in four flavors, inspired by creatures and game play from the game. Each can features a tab that when removed reveals an alpha-numeric code for use on www.ChaoticGame.com. The line is available at more than 5,300 supermarkets, gas stations and convenience stores throughout Canada, including Zellers, Loblaws, Sobeys West and London Drugs. Plans call for introducing the Chaotic beverage in the U.S. later this year.

The drink contains vitamin A, C, D and E and only natural sugar from beets and sugar cane with no high fructose corn syrup. Three flavors will contain caffeine derived from green tea (Blood Orange, Grape Punch, Kiwi Melon) and one flavor (Dragon Fruit) will be caffeine-free.

“U & Me Marketing has created a new category of ‘Consumable Entertainment,’" said Carlin West, the executive VP of acquisitions and development at 4Kids Entertainment. "We are confident that both Chaotic fans, as well as consumers new to the brand, will find that this product provides a fun, healthy, thirst-quenching experience."

Chaotic‘s second season, Chaotic M’arrillian Invasion, currently airs in Canada on TELETOON and in the U.S. on TheCW4Kids.
