Celestial to Release Behind the Yellow Line on Blu-ray

HONG KONG, March 17: Celestial Pictures will release Behind
the Yellow Line, from its Shaw Brothers
film library, in the Blu-ray high-definition DVD format this April.

This release marks the first of Celestial’s Shaw Brothers
films to be launched in the high-definition home-entertainment format. The
release also commemorates Leslie Cheung, one of the most popular Chinese artists
from Hong Kong, who starred in the movie originally released in 1984 and who
passed away on April 1, 2003.

“The launch of Behind the Yellow Line in Blu-ray high-definition format is great news for
the worldwide fans of Shaw Brothers movies,” said Terry Mak, the executive VP
of distribution and TV networks at Celestial Pictures. “We are excited to
present Behind the Yellow Line in
the best viewing quality available today to Leslie’s fans.”

Added Mak: “We are planning to release more Shaw Brothers’
classics in Blu-ray format to deliver the most advanced viewing experience to
consumers as demand for high-definition content rises. We are also looking to
expand our home-entertainment product lines to our existing distribution
channels.”
