CBS Renews Two Freshman Series

LOS ANGELES: CBS has given second-season orders to NCIS: Los Angeles and The Good Wife, the season’s top two freshman series.

NCIS: Los Angeles is the number one new program of the season, with an average audience of 16.8 million viewers. The Good Wife regularly claims the top spot on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. in viewers, adults 25 to 54, adults 18 to 49 and key female demographics.

"Two great new series, fronted by talented stars on one big night of television," said Nina Tassler, the president of CBS Entertainment. "We’re proud of these shows and what they’ve accomplished on Tuesday night."
