CBS Reality Takes On Cineflix Surf Show

LONDON: CBS Reality has acquired seasons one and four of the unscripted show Surf Patrol from Cineflix International.

The first season has 13 half-hour episodes, while season four has six new half-hours. The show follows the day-to-day exploits of Australian lifesavers who patrol the shark-infested waters off the coast of New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. The fourth season is hosted by Tom Williams, though the first is presented by Simon Westaway.

The series makes its debut on CBS Reality in May.

Chris Sharp, Chello Zone’s chief programming officer and general manager, commented on the deal: “Surf Patrol is crammed full of real life drama and is another strong addition to our programming lineup. We are confident that lovers of Bondi Rescue, which is one of CBS Reality’s highest rated shows, will love this adrenaline-packed new series.”
