CBS.com On Top in Monthly Users

SAN FRANCISCO, October 31:
For the second consecutive month, CBS.com leads all other TV network websites
in terms of unique monthly viewers, video streams and minutes streamed,
according to comScore Video Metrix.

CBS.com also experienced
double-digit growth in unique viewers month over month, 16 percent, and year
over year, 60 percent. The site saw a 107-percent gain in its number of streams
compared to last year.

In an ongoing customer
survey commissioned by CBS and conducted by Magid Media Labs, 83 percent of the
more than 71,000 people polled said that they were "very satisfied"
with their online experience on the CBS Audience Network. The Magid study also
shows that CBS reaches a younger demographic online than it does on air, with
an average age of 36 compared to 53. Additional information from the study
found that a typical advertisement on the CBS Audience Network receives a 33-percent
brand lift and viewers indicated a 26-percent lift in intent to purchase.

CBS.com's leading
positions follows the success of the CBS Television Network, which opened the
2008-09 broadcast season as the number one network in total viewers and the key
adult 18-to-49 and 25-to-54 demographics.

"Our recent success
in key months validates our strategy of being early to adopt an open,
multi-partner syndication model," said Anthony Soohoo, the senior VP and
general manager of entertainment for CBS Interactive. "It also shows the
power of leveraging the web to harness passionate communities in order to build
premium online destinations that offer more than just re-broadcast content.
Innovations such as the HD Gallery and Social Viewing Rooms give our audience
more ways to enjoy our content experiences. And advertisers increasingly
receive quantifiable benefit in brand lift and intent to purchase."
