CBS Brings Back Big Brother

LOS ANGELES: With just a little less than a week to go before the two-hour finale of the 11th season of Big Brother, CBS has announced the show’s return for summer 2010.

A 12th season is planned for the three-times-a-week series, which posted grew its audience both on-air and online this season. Big Brother 11 is up 7 percent in viewers compared to last summer, from 6.6 million to 7.1 million. The show is up 4 percent in adults 18 to 49 and 5 percent in adults 18 to 34. Online, Big Brother 11 is the number one show on CBS.com and across the CBS Audience Network in all key metrics, with 25-percent more unique users and 94-percent more video streams than last summer.

The 11th season of the hit reality show concludes with a special two-hour live finale and reunion show on Tuesday, September 15, on CBS.
