LONDON: The Little Airplane-produced short-form animated series Small Potatoes has made its debut in the U.K. on CBeebies.

Little Airplane has also secured deals for the show with JEI TV in South Korea and now TV in Hong Kong as a VOD offering. Following its launch on CBeebies, the series is set to air on Disney Junior in the U.S. later this year. Further deals have been firmed up with Canal+ and Piwi in France, YLE in Finland, NRK in Norway, SVT in Sweden, ABC TV in Australia and TVO and Knowledge in Canada.

The show follows the adventures of a band of four singing potatoes. Every episode features a music video and two short comedy sketches.

Josh Selig, founder of Little Airplane, said: “The reaction to Small Potatoes from the public and international broadcasters has been incredible and we cannot wait to see what happens once the program launches on CBeebies.”
