CBBC Signs Up for More Prank Patrol

MONTREAL: CBBC is on board for a third season of its own version of Prank Patrol, the Apartment 11 Productions creation distributed worldwide by MarVista Entertainment.

Apartment 11 Productions licensed the format to the original YTV commission—celebrating its 100th episode this month—to the U.K.-based Bakermedia in 2006. Bakermedia begins production on the third season of the British edition next month for premiere on CBBC in 2010. 

“Prank Patrol is a really superb format which has truly captured the imagination of the U.K.’s children,” said Peter Baker, creative director at Bakermedia. “The series continue to enjoy ratings success and are regularly repeated in the schedules.”
