LONDON: The in-house drama lineup of new and returning series for CBBC includes The 4 O’Clock Club, Young Dracula, Sadie J and Tracy Beaker Returns.

The 13×30-minute The 4 O’Clock Club features two brothers who attend the same school, each of whom likes to have the upper hand. One is a teacher, while the other is a pupil. The younger of the two has aspirations to become a rapper, while the older brother is determined to stop him from making the same mistakes he did. The show is due to start production in the next few months.

Young Dracula is heading back to CBBC. The new season starts four years on, as Vlad and the Count have fled from Stokely, keeping a low profile and hiding in plain sight by buying a school. The third 13×30-minute series will be filmed around Liverpool.

Sadie J is returning for a second run. The show features a feisty teenage girl who is making her way in a male-dominated world. The 13×30-minute show will be filmed in the BBC studios.

Tracy Beaker Returns will start filming its third season this summer. The 13×30-minute next chapter continues to follow the ups and downs of a group of children and staff at a care home.

Damian Kavanagh, the controller of CBBC, said: "CBBC is committed to providing children with a diverse range of quality home-grown dramas. With fantasy, comedy, real-life issues and even a spot of rapping covered in this quartet of new series I am confident there is something for everyone."
