Cat in the Hat Headed to Playhouse Disney Channels

TORONTO: Portfolio International and Disney have firmed up an agreement to bring The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! into 40 territories on Playhouse Disney channels.

The first season of 40 half-hour episodes will air on Playhouse Disney channels in Australia and New Zealand, as well as all Australasian countries and islands; India and neighboring countries, including Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka; Italy, including Monte Carlo, Vatican City and Italian-speaking Switzerland; and Southeast Asia, including Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

The series, which features the voice of Martin Short as the infamous Cat in the Hat, is produced by Portfolio Entertainment and Collingwood O’Hare Productions, in association with Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Random House Children’s Entertainment, Treehouse and PBS Kids.
