Casting Revealed for Global/ABC Mini-Series Titanic

TORONTO: Linus Roache and Geraldine Somerville will lead the cast of the four-part mini-series Titanic for Global and ABC, which begins filming in Budapest next month.

From Nigel Stafford Clark and Julian Fellowes, the event mini-series will simulcast on Global and ABC in spring 2012, in time for the 100th anniversary of the legendary disaster at sea. In addition to Roache and Somerville, the cast includes Noah Reid, Linda Kash, David Eisner, Celia Imrie, Toby Jones, Perdita Weeks, Lee Ross, Jenna-Louise Coleman, Sophie Winkleman, Steven Waddington and David Calder, among others. ITV Studios Global Entertainment is handling worldwide distribution. Partners on the production are ITV Studios, Shaw Media, Deep Indigo Productions, Lookout Point, Sienna Films and Mid Atlantic Films. It is a U.K.-Hungary-Canada co-production.
