Cartoon Network Launches First MMOG

ATLANTA, January 15: Five years in the making, Cartoon Network’s much-anticipated massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall is now available to play.

From Cartoon Network New Media along with its development partner Grigon Entertainment, FusionFall takes Cartoon Network characters, re-imagines them in an anime-inspired style and sets them in dynamic new environments. Players create their own in-game avatars and battle alongside characters from some of Cartoon Network’s most popular shows—Ben 10: Alien Force, Dexter’s Laboratory, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Ed, Edd’ n Eddy, The Powerpuff Girls, Kids Next Door and Samurai Jack, among others—to save the world from an epic alien invasion.

"The response to FusionFall during our beta phase and sneak peek play weekends has been phenomenal," said Chris Waldron, the executive producer of FusionFall. "We’re thrilled to finally offer fans the opportunity to fully explore the Cartoon Network universe online with friends and family."
