Cartoon Network Latin America Scores Chilean HD Series

CANNES: The animated series Zumbastico Fantastico from Chile’s Sólo por las Niñas Audiovisual will make its way to Cartoon Latin America.  

Zumbastico Fantastico is a Sólo Por Las Niñas Audiovisual production in co-production with Televisión Nacional de Chile and with funding from Consejo Nacional de Televisión. HOLA Entertainment holds the worldwide distribution rights. The 17×26-minute show is produced in HD. 

“Cartoon Network Latin America is constantly seeking for relevant and high-quality content from our region,” said Pablo Zuccarino, the VP and channel manager for Cartoon Network and Tooncast Latin America. “With tons of humor, a very unique voice and hilarious characters, Zumbastico Fantastico is a perfect match for our DNA and one of the best series to come out of the region so we are thrilled to welcome it to our lineup.” 

Alvaro Ceppi, the general director of Sólo por las Niñas, said the acquisition was “historic.” He commented, “The fact that our series will air on the network that has inspired us for so long is very meaningful to us. This is the culmination of ten years of hard work in children’s television.”
