Cahn Upped at Cartoon Network

ATLANTA, August 29: Alice Cahn has been promoted to the
newly created position of VP of social responsibility for Cartoon Network,
based in New York.

In her new role, Cahn will be responsible for providing
guidance, content direction and coordination of the design and implementation
of outreach and social responsibility initiatives across all of the network’s
divisions. She will also continue to develop the relationships with media and
child advocacy communities, sponsors, educators, non-profit organizations and
trade associations. She is charged with coordinating all efforts with Turner
public affairs, general counsel and public relations offices. Cahn will report
to Stuart Snyder, the EVP and COO for Turner Broadcasting’s Animation, Young
Adults & Kids Media group.

Cahn was previously VP of development for Cartoon Network’s
kids’ businesses. She joined Cartoon Network in 2004 after a stint at The
Markle Foundation. Her long career in the kids’ business has included stints at
Sesame Workshop and PBS.
