CABLEready to Offer New Food & Travel Series

NORWALK: CABLEready has picked up several new original series for its catalogue, following newly inked agreements with Finland’s Aito Media and Spain’s D4D.

CABLEready has expanded its food programming to include a pair of series hosted by chefs Eric Ripert and Todd English. CABLEready has all worldwide rights to Avec Eric, excluding the U.S. and digital. The series features Eric Ripert traveling the world to meet with renowned chefs and friends to demonstrate how to turn a simple meal into a shared adventure. It is produced by Anomaly and airs on PBS in the U.S.

CABLEready has all worldwide rights except the U.S. and South Korea to Food Trip with Todd English, featuring the celebrity chef and restaurateur as he travels from Israel to Italy to South America and beyond. The series is produced by Todd English Productions and airs on PBS in the U.S.

Other series include the docudrama Heartbeat, produced by Aito Media, which follows families as they experience the birth of a child; 30 Days on the Silk Road, hosted by Finnish actor Ville Haapasolo and produced by Aito Media; and World Cities 3D, produced by D4D. Across Russia in 30 Days also features Ville Haapasolo as he travels across Russia.
