Bruno Launches on Cartoon Network Japan

TORONTO, September 12: Cuppa Coffee’s hit interstitials
series Bruno has launched on Cartoon
Network Japan as part of a deal with Tokyo-based OLC, which represents the
property in Japan.

The 50×1-minute series stars a playful little monkey who
inspires preschool learning through active exploration and discovery. It is
currently airing in some 90 markets, and Cuppa Coffee is in the midst of
developing a 26×11-minute spin off, Bruno and the Banana Bunch, which was recently picked up by CBC. “Of course it
still offers up the great design and characters seen in the original shorts,”
said Cuppa Coffee’s president, Adam Shaheen, “but now the world has expanded
and viewers will get to see where Bruno lives—a fantastical place called
Banana Land.”
