Brockman Upped at Disney-ABC

LOS ANGELES, June 6: Kevin
Brockman has been promoted to executive VP of global communications at
Disney-ABC Television Group, with oversight of all corporate, news and
entertainment communication efforts worldwide.

Additionally, Brockman is
responsible for the group’s photography, broadcast publicity, ratings publicity
and talent-relations activities. He is also involved in corporate
communications for ABC’s owned television stations in New York, Los Angeles,
Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston, Raleigh-Durham, Fresno, Flint
and Toledo. With this promotion, Brockman adds communication oversight for
Disney-ABC International Television and the publishing unit Hyperion.

He previously served as
the senior VP of communications for Disney-ABC Television Group, upped from the
role of senior VP of entertainment communications. Brockman also held positions
at ABC Television Network and UPN.
