What are some of your top properties for MIPCOM?

The Secret World Of Suckers, Kambu, Canimal, Zookaboo and Khuda-Yana.

Why will these programs appeal to buyers?

The new programs we handle are all not only NEW shows in production for release in 2010 but NEW shows to exploit great BRANDS online and over consumer products for a much longer term. You will find not only the best CG production you can find in Europe but a really creative look and funny storytelling as always provided by Screen 21. We are probably the first production company to introduce a property, Zookaboo for TV, home video and Internet to be worked out in 3-D stereoscopic to be released in 2010. It looks extremely interesting to find a home for 3-D home instead of just in the theatres specially when the property is specifically conceived for 3-D from the early stages of look and scriptwriting.

What are some of the trends you’re currently seeing in this market?

Everybody is looking for BRANDS which look much more secure under this economic climate but it could be EXTREMELY expensive according to the investment compared to the one you make when you start up a brand and you are the current owner of the brand. In order to create a long-term brand you need to tackle the new online audiences with new looks and interactive ways and many times old looks coming from past brands won’t work. It looks more challenging and exciting for us to work out a Pixar-tech and creative- way instead of buying Marvel and adapting it to the new audiences.

What are your goals and expectations MIPCOM?

The great early response we already got before MIPCOM Junior for our new preschool shows is really exciting. It looks really cool to hear programming buyers talking to each other about your next project which is only on early stages of development. Our first shows on the air in Japan and the U.S. makes us go beyond on the global strategy we want for our brands by working from early stages with the main international toy companies.

Is there any other information you would like to share regarding your plans for MIPCOM?

If you are a major broadcaster, you look for new shows and want them for FREE. Look for us! We have BRANDS.
