BTVP is representing 35 Brazilian companies at MIPCOM, while PACT has 41 independent U.K. production companies under its banner for the market. The two have come together to provide these Brazilian and British companies a chance to meet in a one-on-one setting with the aim of fostering co-productions, building new relationships and introducing creative content from the independent content sector. Among those set to participate are 2DLab, Elo Company, Santo Forte, Mixer and Blink TV, Yellow House, Double Band, among others.

“BTVP is consistently looking to open new doors for Brazilian independent producers,” said Marco Altberg, the president of BTVP. “We are extremely enthusiastic about joining with PACT to host this important event and hope that it will be the first of many at future markets. We celebrate the opportunity to encourage new business in the U.K. and to hold this event to assist in expanding our business ventures together.”

John McVay, PACT’s chief executive, added:
"All of us at Pact are excited by the opportunity to work more closely with Brazil’s producers and their trade association This year’s event with BVTP is a key opportunity to establish new connections for U.K. independent producers in this important and valuable content market."
