Bravo Unveils New Top Chef Spin-Off

NEW YORK: The new Bravo culinary competition Top Chef: Just Desserts, a spin-off of the Emmy Award-winning series Top Chef, will feature pastry chefs competing against each other in a range of challenges. 

The open calls for chefs who are interesting in competing in the series kicked off yesterday in Chicago, with further stops set for Washington, D.C.; Boston, Atlanta, New York, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Portland. Magical Elves will produce Top Chef: Just Desserts. Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz (Top Chef, Top Chef Masters, Project Runway, Top Design) and Casey Kriley serve as executive producers.

Another Top Chef spin-off, Top Chef Masters, was just renewed for a second season. The original Top Chef series is currently in its sixth season.
