LOS ANGELES: BoPaul Media Worldwide has added the film The Brave One, from blacklisted writer Dalton Trumbo, to its catalogue.

BoPaul Media acquired the distribution rights to the feature from VCI Entertainment and has already begun a promotional campaign to license The Brave One worldwide, excluding the U.S. and Canada, in all media. The film has been up-converted from the original negative to HD, and will be released on Blu-ray from VCI in North America in 2016.

The Brave One is based on a true story and stars Michael Ray as a boy who befriends a bull he saves during a storm in Mexico. Trumbo received an Oscar for his work on the film under the pseudonym Robert Rich in 1956. He was blacklisted after refusing to testify before the House Un-American Activities Committee in 1947.
