Blueprint, Mad Science Group in Kids’ Development Deal

LOS ANGELES/TORONTO,
November 13: Blueprint Kids, the animation and children’s division of Blueprint
Entertainment, has inked a deal with The Mad Science Group to develop a
science-themed children’s TV series and related consumer products and
promotions.

John Morayniss and Frank
Saperstein will serve as executive producers for Blueprint, and Ariel Shlien
and Ron Shlien for The Mad Science Group. Under the deal, Blueprint will handle
worldwide sales of the finished series through its distribution arm, Oasis
International, while The Mad Science Group will manage ancillary products and
licensing.

Mad Science is a provider
of educational science experiences for children. Targeting 6- to 9-year-old
children, the television series aims to deliver fun and exciting adventures in
science drawn from the Mad Science brand, which includes an international
franchise system, large-scale touring shows, and partnerships such as their
after-school program developed in conjunction with NASA, and their permanent
theatrical show at the Kennedy Space Center.
