BKN to Release New Films

LONDON, May 15: BKN
International will deliver two new films later this spring that are based on
its animated kids’ properties Zorro: Generation Z and Dork Hunters from Outer Space.

The two new films are Zorro
and Scarlet Whip: Revealed!
and Dork
Hunters and the Pirates of Tortuga Island
. Both movies will be 80 minutes in length and will be available for
television license and for DVD release later in 2008.

Zorro and Scarlet Whip:
Revealed!
tells the story of Zorro
and Scarlet Whip’s battle against criminal scientists named the Catalano
brothers. Meanwhile, in Dork Hunters and The Pirates of Tortuga Island, the Dork Hunters take a holiday on tropical
Tortuga Island only to discover that Fido, the Dork Commander, and Principal
Jones, his second-in-command, have traveled to the same resort in their search
of a buried treasure chest full of micro-galaxies.

Nicola Andrews, the
managing director of BKN New Media, stated: “The Dork Hunters property will launch with GMTV in the U.K. and RTL
II in Germany, followed by many other quality broadcasters and a major toy line
from U.K.-based Character Group. This new Dork Hunters and the Pirates of
Tortuga Island
feature will further connect the story line to kids
and engage in more adventure.”

Laura Tapias, the managing
director of BKN New Media, added, “Zorro and Scarlet Whip: Revealed! follows the already produced and announced Zorro—Return
to the Future
film and continues
our investment in this great property. Many markets will launch this year such
as TVE/Clan TV and Telecinco in Spain and Star TV in Greece and Record TV in
Brasil, while other key markets will launch in 2009, including Mediaset in
Italy.”
