BKN to Launch New Animated Project

LONDON: At this year’s MIP JUNIOR, BKN International will unveil Joshua Blake: The Agency, a new animated project budgeted at $13 million with some $5 million already secured from a deal with a prominent Canadian outfit.

The new series will feature the character Joshua Blake, who, like his older brother, has been trained by the government spy organization simply known as "The Agency." However, unlike his brother Joshua will use all the powers of The Agency to save the world from forces that would use technology to destroy rather than enhance life.

Richard Ungar (Spiderman: The Animated Series, Biker Mice from Mars and X Men: Evolution) serves as executive producer with Andy Briggs (Hero.com and Rise of the Gargoyles) as lead writer. Forty episodes are slated for delivery by spring 2011.
