Biography Channel Continues Strong Growth

NEW YORK, October 13: The Biography Channel closed the third quarter of
2006 with its ninth consecutive quarter of
year-over-year growth in prime households, total viewers and among viewers
25-54 in prime time.

Building on the
ratings growth, the Channel will produce and air 70 new Biography premieres in the next year and Biography of The
Year will make its new
official home on The Biography Channel this December.

In addition, the channel’s
website, Biography.com, saw
375-percent growth in August and will add more than 2,000 pieces of short-form
content this year. The Biography Channel is also recently launched
content through iTunes and AOL Video.
