Big Tent Appointed U.S. Licensing Agent for Discovery Kids

NEW YORK, May 3: In a long-term agreement, Big Tent
Entertainment has been tapped as the exclusive U.S. licensing agent for
Discovery Kids.

Under the agreement, Big Tent will represent the U.S.
licensing rights to some of Discovery Kids’ most popular animated properties,
including Growing Up Creepie, Kenny the Shark and Tutenstein, as well
as hit live action series such as Endurance, Flight 29 Down and Trading Spaces: Boys vs. Girls, among others.

Big Tent will also be charged with licensing efforts for Ready
Set Learn!
, the award-winning preschool
block that airs on both the Discovery Kids channel and TLC. Within the
programming block, Big Tent will work with select properties that include Paz,
Wilbur
and The Save-Ums. The comprehensive licensing program will focus on key
categories such as soundtrack albums, toys and plush, board games, apparel and
fashion accessories, novelties, household items, social expressions, paper
products, video games, publishing and mobile entertainment. In addition to
licensing agent services, Big Tent will also collaborate on the overall brand
marketing strategy for the properties.
