SYDNEY: Beyond Distribution is slated to showcase 14 new titles and a dozen returning series at MIPCOM.

New titles include Highway Thru Hell, The Mistress, Fatal Vows, Steam Punks, Wild Racers, Cause of Death: Unknown, Animal 999, Rod & RucksackHistory Under the Hammer, Do You Really Want to Know, Sext Up Kids, The Years That Made Us and Myth or Science.

The company will also be presenting returning shows with new seasons, such as Deadly Women, Facing Evil, The Will, Vintage Hunter, The Zoo, Toybox, Buzzy Bee & Friends, Income Property, Highway Patrol, Serious Crash Unit, Motorway Patrol and MythBusters.

In addition, Beyond is working with six new production companies, including Great Pacific Media Inc., Nothin’ But Shorts International, Demus Productions, Infield Fly Productions Inc., Cinesite & Gass Productions and Optic Nerve Films Inc.

Yvonne Body, the head of acquisitions for Beyond, commented: "We are very proud of the new titles Beyond is bringing to MIPCOM, but particularly delighted to be introducing programming from so many new companies. These are experienced producers who tell great stories and bring out strong characters."

Body added: "In today’s often fickle broadcast environment it’s no mean achievement to have a second or third season commissioned, it’s incredibly satisfying to have so many series that have reached that stage or further: Income Property is in its sixth season, with the seventh in production, while The Zoo and Motorway Patrol have reached their 12th and 13th seasons respectively."
