Beyond to Bring 200+ Hours of Fresh Content to MIP

SYDNEY: Beyond Distribution will be offering up more than 200 hour of new content in their catalogue for MIPTV, spanning genres such as children’s, factual, documentary, science and crime.

Six Degrees of TV is an entertainment series that proves all your favorite celebrities are never separated by more than six degrees. Each episode shows how two big stars are connected through a series of other famous faces. The show is produced by Force Four Entertainment.

I Could Do That!, produced by Cream Productions, watches as ordinary people get their hands dirty at the controls of big machines. MovieStar looks at the careers of worldwide superstars and their rise to stardom. The series is an Entertainment News Service production.

From Beyond Productions, Stop. Rewind highlights the most innovative ideas, discoveries, breakthroughs, dead-ends and eureka moments that all shaped the latter part of the 20th century. Psychic Private Eyes, produced by Zone Media Broadcasting and IPM, opens real-life psychic investigations into murders and disappearances, attempting to contact the dead victims for clues to what really happened.

From National Wildlife Federation and Xing Xing Digital Corporation comes Wild Animal Baby Explorers. The 52×15-minute series introduces preschoolers to nature in a combination of 3D animation and HD live-action footage.

The Beyond Action-produced Rush TV profiles people and events from the world of action sports and looks at how sports fuse with music, fashion and the arts. There’s also Hot Cities, which follows the personal stories of people on the frontline of climate change and meets the scientists and researchers who are investigating the issue.

Sandra “Pepa” Denton from Salt-n-Pepa headlines Let’s Talk About Pep, produced by VH1. Highway Patrol, a Greenstone Pictures production, chronicles Australia’s traffic enforcers and delves into the day-to-day lives of this dangerous job on the road. Comedy School is a 4×30-minute HD series from Beyond Productions that follows a beginners class in stand-up comedy, taught by veteran comedian Rob McHugh.

The hour-long Hyper Parents & Coddled Kids looks at how kids are overprotected, overindulged and overscheduled, and whether it will have negative long-term repercussions. The project is produced by Dreamfilm Productions. Rounding out the slate is The Downside of High, also from Dreamfilm Productions. The one-hour production looks at today’s super potent pot and whether it is damaging young minds permanently.

Returning series include Mythbusters 6, Love It or List It 2, Chef Worthy 2, Zoo 11 and Income Property 3.
