Beyond Taps eOne Alum as Head of Acquisitions

Beyond Distribution has appointed Justina Hemperek, who joins from Entertainment One (eOne), as its new head of acquisitions.

Hemperek was previously eOne’s director of acquisitions for the U.K., Europe and Australia. She will take up the role at Beyond in March and report to General Manager Michael Murphy.

Sarah McCormack, currently acting head of acquisitions, has taken on a new role as senior VP of acquisitions for the U.K., Europe and kids.

Murphy said: “Justina will play a key role as we ramp up our acquisitions activity. By expanding and strengthening our team, we are reflecting the increased demand from our clients for world-class content.”

Hemperek added: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Beyond and expanding the company’s reach internationally by securing highly commercial properties for multiple platforms worldwide. I’m also very excited to work closely with Sarah as we continue to deliver high rating shows to our clients.”
