Beyond Scores New Sales for Milly, Molly

SYDNEY: Two new sales have been firmed up by Beyond Distribution for the second season of Milly, Molly, following the official launch at MIP Junior. 

 

French broadcaster Canal+ and YLE in Finland have both picked up the 15-minute version of the second season. Canal+ broadcast the first series in May 2008 and has scheduled the second for early 2010. Laurie Dumas, the director of acquisitions for children’s at Canal+, commented, “We are really happy to have more episodes of Milly, Molly, which we renamed as Mili Mélo. We have been eagerly waiting the second series since the first performed so well on our Piwi channel. It fits very well with the spirit and editorial line of the channel, with the strong friendship themes and acceptance of difference.”

 

The second series is also going to air on Discovery Kids Latin America, Discovery Familia in the U.S. and TV Ontario in Canada.
