Beyond Distribution Closes Deals for Jetstream

SYDNEY, July 9: The History Channel U.K., TV2 Norway and TV4
Fakta Sweden and Finland have all picked up the HD series Jetstream from Beyond Distribution, which launched the factual
property at MIPTV.

The show chronicles the trials of eight Air Force pilots as
they struggle to master one of the world’s most advanced supersonic tactical
fighter jets, the $35 million F-18 Hornet. The show covers nine months as the
pilots go from ground school to graduation.

Deals for the show in France, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia,
Bulgaria and Korea also have been closed.

The 8×1-hour high-definition series is the first
collaboration between Paperny Films and Beyond Distribution.

“Jetstream reveals
the strong characters and personal stories behind the hard, military exterior
of these jet fighter pilots,” said Beyond Distribution’s Marzenna Czubowicz.
“This, coupled with high production values, is the reason this program has been
popular with broadcasters.”
