Beyond Completes Sales for The Suicide Tourist

SYDNEY, September 22:
Beyond Distribution has secured several international sales, including to ABC
in Australia and TV2 in Norway, for the company’s new documentary The
Suicide Tourist.

Since the program’s launch
at MIPTV, several territories have picked up this title, including DR in
Denmark, VTM in Belgium, MTVOY in Finland, DBS in Israel, RTE in Ireland and
Cineplex in Thailand.

The Suicide Tourist, produced by Point Grey Pictures in association
with CTV, explores the controversy over a person’s right to die at a time and
place of their choosing. Swiss organization Dignitas is the only place where a
person seeking an assisted suicide can legally be helped. Four lives and one
death are featured in this program, which is produced in high definition and
available as a one-hour or 90-minute documentary.
