Berta Orozco to Lead Regional Sales for Caracol

BOGOTÁ: Berta Orozco is replacing Alejandro Toro at Caracol Television as sales executive for Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Toro has left his post in order to settle in Spain. Orozco has been in charge of the commercialization of Caracol’s catalogue in Eastern Europe for the past two years.

Angelica Guerra, the international VP, remarked, "Africa and the Middle East have been markets that have shown exponential growth for Caracol in the last year, so this appointment is a vote of confidence for the notable job that Berta has been doing, mainly in the Spanish market."

Orozco added, "My main challenge will be to continue the excellent job that Alejandro Toro had been doing and continue to strengthen Asian, African, Australian and Middle Eastern territories."
