Berlinale Series Market Selects Revealed

The Berlinale Series Market, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary from February 19 to 21, has revealed the 15 programs to be highlighted under the Berlinale Series Market Selects label.

Fifteen series with “outstanding market potential” have been chosen for presentation under the Berlinale Series Market Selects label, ranging from historical biopics and stories about political activists to comedy, mystery and explosive thrillers. The series come from Argentina, Austria, Australia, Brazil, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Latvia, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, the U.S. and the U.K.

They are Betinho: No Fio da Navalha/Living on a Razor’s Edge (Globoplay, Brazil); Déjate Ver/Show Yourself (Atresplayer, Spain); Disko 76 (RTL/RTL+, Germany); Elsbeth (CBS, U.S.); Familia de Divan/Family Therapy (Personal FLOW, Argentina); Kafka (ARD/ORF, Austria); Lost Boys & Fairies (Duck Soup for BBC One, U.K., in association with All3Media International); Matilha/Dogpack (RTP/Amazon Prime Portugal, Portugal); Nudes (Prime Video France, France); Oxen (TV 2 Denmark, Denmark/ZDF, Germany); Padomju džinsi/Soviet Jeans (Latvia); Soon Comes Night(Netflix, Africa/SABC, South Africa); We’re on it Comrades (ZDF, Germany; Czech TV, Czech Republic); While the Men Are Away (Australia); and Zorras/Tramps(Atresplayer, Spain).
