Benidorm Bastards to Get French-Canadian Treatment

MUNICH: SevenOne International has sold the production rights for Benidorm Bastards to French-Canadian broadcaster Vtele.

The Belgian TV hit will be locally adapted as Les Détestables to air Tuesdays at 7 p.m. Benidorm Bastards has been sold to more than 20 countries, including the U.S., with Betty White’s Off Their Rockers for NBC. Further deals include Off Their Rockers for the BBC in the U.K., Old Ass Bastards for ProSieben in Germany and Pensionärsjävlar for Kanal 5 in Sweden. It has also sold as Benidorm Bastards to RTL 4 in the Netherlands, Rollator Banden for SBS in Denmark, Bingobanden for TV Norge in Norway, Batrani si Nelinistiti for TV 2 in Romania and JeulGeoUn In Seng for tvN in South Korea.
