Ben Tan to Lead Regional Communications at SPENA

SINGAPORE: SPE Networks—Asia (SPENA) has named Ben Tan as head of communications, based in the Singapore office.

Starting January 3, Tan joins as associate director of communications, replacing Priscilla Yip. Tan will be responsible for media relations and internal communications. He will report directly to Ricky Ow, the senior VP and general manager for SPENA. The regional role covers Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, India, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Ow said, “Ben is a welcome addition to our senior team. His extensive experience as a business journalist and editor, coupled with his solid news sense and interest in social media, will help drive SPENA’s communications strategy to engage our viewers and other stakeholders more deeply.”
