Bebo Launching Online Magazine Series

LONDON, December 19: Bebo
is partnering with RDF Digital to produce a weekly magazine show tentatively
titled B-Box, highlighting new
content on the social-media service such as home-made videos and celebrity
segments.

B-Box will spotlight user-generated content, alongside
covering newly released films, games and music and "Bebo Originals."
Each episode will feature reoccurring strands, including "60 Second
Celebrity," where stars reveal a hidden talent or complete a challenge
chosen by the presenters.

Anti-knife crime campaign
"It Doesn't Have To Happen" and Cadbury Creme Egg have signed up as
sponsors of the show. Other potential partners are still in negotiation.

Kelly Brett, the head of
original productions for Bebo, said: "This is an exciting venture for Bebo
and we are delighted to have already signed up some fantastic sponsors. B-Box is a great opportunity for us to show off the
incredible content available across Bebo in a unique and entertaining way. It
will be a weekly chance for our members to feel connected to the site while
getting a quick fix of all things showbiz."

Charlie Leahy, the
executive producer for RDF Digital, said: "B-Box is the ideal platform to celebrate the Bebo
community. The show will not only pinpoint specific users and groups who are
actively adding content and being creative, but will also showcase all the
latest in film, music, gaming, 'Bebo Originals' and more. It is also the
perfect show for brands to get involved with due to its adaptability and the
fact that we can create really fun integrations that will fit naturally within
the show."
