BBC Worldwide Canada Makes Sales to Knowledge Network

TORONTO: Knowledge Network has licensed more than 100 hours of drama, docs, music and arts and natural-history programs from BBC Worldwide Canada, marking the largest ever program sale by the BBC to the Canadian pubcaster.

The new deal includes the drama Silk, about a counselor who endeavors to become a member of the Queen’s Counsel. Knowledge also went for the entire series of Monarch of the Glen and the documentaries How the Beatles Rocked the Kremlin and Civilization: Is the West History. The natural-history series Planet Earth and Blue Planet were also part of the package.
