BBC Worldwide Appoints New CFO

LONDON, November 1: BBC Worldwide has named Neil Chugani as
its CFO, succeeding David King, who has been appointed the managing director of
acquisitions.

Chugani will take up his new post in December. He will lead
the financial team at BBC Worldwide, developing all aspects of the company’s
financial strategy. In particular, he will oversee the development and
implementation of the company’s five-year growth plan.

Chugani previously served as an executive director in
Goldman Sachs International’s investment banking division. Prior to his work at
Goldman Sachs, Chugani served in a number of senior roles at BSkyB, including
director of corporate finance, investor relations and treasury and deputy to
the CFO, and deputy head of strategic planning.
