BBC Worldwide Americas Sells 200+ Hours

NEW ORLEANS: Following the BBC Showcase Syndication event in New Orleans, BBC Worldwide Americas has secured more than 200 hours of programming sales to PBS stations across the U.S.

BBC Showcase Syndication, now in its third year, hosted 59 public-television programmers from across the U.S. Affiliates were given access to first- and second-window programming on popular BBC titles, including Hustle, Ashes to Ashes, Worst Week of My Life and Black Books as well as premiere options on Outnumbered, Electric Dreams, Lark Rise to Candleford, New Tricks, The Old Guys, Priceless, Antiques Roadshow and Waking the Dead.

Matt Forde, the executive VP of sales and co-productions at BBC Worldwide Americas, said, “BBC Showcase Syndication once again delivered very impressive program sales for us, adding to the overall success of BBC Worldwide’s Showcase events around the world.
