BBC Renews 1 vs. 100

HILVERSUM/LONDON, December 13: BBC One has commissioned a
second season of Endemol International’s hit game show 1 vs. 100 for broadcast in 2007.

The format recently received an extended run in the U.S.,
where it has emerged as a strong component of NBC’s Friday-night lineup. 1
vs. 100
has been sold to more than 20
markets worldwide.

The British version will again be produced by the
Endemol-owned Initial. The first season,
which launched in September, had an average of 6.1 million viewers in its
Saturday-night slot, delivering a 27.3 percent share. The show peaked at 7.5
million viewers on October 14.
