BAFTA TV Nominations Announced

LONDON, April 11: Kudos’ Life on Mars and Power’s The Virgin Queen are among the nominees for the British Academy
Television Awards, which will be presented at the London Palladium on May 20.

In the single drama category, nods went to ITV1’s Housewife

and Channel 4’s Longford and Road to Guantanamo. In drama series, BBC One’s Life on Mars and The Street are up against Channel 4’s Shameless and Sugar Rush. For drama serial, the nominees are Channel 4’s Low Winter

and See No Evil: The
Moors Murders
and BBC One’s The
Virgin Queen.
In continuing drama, the
nominees are Casualty and Eastenders
