BabyTV Grows Latin American Reach

BUENOS AIRES, April 4:
BabyTV has launched on Intercable in Venezuela in the basic package, making the
24-hour channel available to more than 1.5 million subscribers across Latin
America.

The launch on Intercable
follows existing carriage on Cablevision and Multicanal in Argentina, Prosat in
Guatemala, Multivision in Bolivia and others, as well as 19 recent launches
that took place in December 2007 to January 2008 across the region, including
on PCTV, Maxcom and Cablevision in Mexico; VTR in Chile; and TV Cable de Bogota,
UNE and Codisert in Colombia, among others.

Carlos Martinez, the
senior VP and deputy managing director for Fox Latin American Channels, said:
“BabyTV is receiving strong feedback from the Latin America regions and is
gearing to continue its aggressive expansion into the market as a 24-hour
channel throughout this year, also launching localized Spanish and Portuguese
web destinations shortly to complement the channel.”
