LONDON: BabyTV is increasing its presence in Eastern Europe, with a launch on Volia in Ukraine.

The channel, a commercial-free offering for infants, toddlers and parents, had recent launches on Comstar-Ukraine and AB Ukraine, as well as on National Cable Networks and Krokus in Russia. BabyTV is further available in the region through operators such as MTU, Corbina and Kubtelekom in Russia, Romtelecom in Romania, ITI Neovision in Poland, SBB in Serbia, T2 and Planet 9 in Slovenia, Teo in Lithuania and THT in Croatia.

Andrey Metelsky, the marketing director of Volia, said: "It is highly important for us to satisfy growing demand and offer only the best product. We received many letters from our subscribers who have small children regarding TV channels with interesting high-quality content that could be watched with children. BabyTV, in our opinion, combines all the mentioned above features. We are very happy to offer this TV channel to our subscribers, and hope that it will have its own very loyal audience."
