BabyFirst Extends European Reach

LOS ANGELES, November 3: BabyFirst
has been added to the lineup of German cable operator Unitymedia's new children's
programming package.

The
24/7 commercial-free network, aimed at babies,
toddlers and their caregivers, has existing European partnerships with BSkyB in
the U.K., CanalSat in France and DigiTurk in Turkey. In the U.S., BabyFirst is
available via DIRECTV, Dish Network and select Comcast, Time Warner and Charter
systems. In Canada, the channel is offered through Bell TV and Rogers Cable.
Asian carriage partners include Chunghwa in Taiwan, SingTel’s mio TV in
Singapore, Korea Telecom and Hanaro in Korea and iCable in Hong Kong. BabyFirst
is also broadcast in Mexico and Puerto Rico, as well as in Panama with CTV
Telecom and Trinidad via Columbus Communications.
