AVIA Elects Two New Board Directors

The Asia Video Industry Association (AVIA) has elected two new board directors: K. Aravamudhan, executive VP of public Policy and legal at JioStar and Vivek Couto, co-founder, CEO and executive director of Media Partners Asia.

AVIA has also confirmed the re-election of Emily Yri, VP of international marketing, at Pubmatic; Desmond Chan, general manager at TVBI and deputy general manager of legal and international operations at TVB; Joe Welch, VP of global public policy for the Asia Pacific at The Walt Disney Company; and Shonali Bedi, head of strategy, partnerships and insights for AsiaPac at Warner Bros. Discovery.

The former board directors were Agnes Rozario, chief content officer of Astro and Greg Armshaw, former senior director of strategy for AsiaPac at Brightcove.
