Audiovisual From Spain Prepares for DISCOP

MADRID: Audiovisual From Spain has a number of animation, fiction, documentary and movie producers, as well as distributors from Spain, heading out to Budapest for DISCOP East.

Imira Entertainment is highlighting two preschool series. The Happets centers on a group of friendly animals that all live together in a treehouse in the middle of the mountains. Saari follows the adventures of a group of friends on a beautiful island. Skewing older is Tangerine & Cow, following the trials and tribulations of a family that’s a bit bonkers.

BRB Internacional heads to the market to present Suckers, which targets kids ages 6 to 12. The dialogue-free show has been airing on Disney XD. Other highlights include Bernard the Polar Bear, Kambu and Canimals.

Edebe rounds out the animation offerings with The Edebits and Four Angies.

Plural Entertainment, TVE and Vertice Sales are highlighting movies, fiction, formats, telenovelas and documentaries. Plural touts There’s Someone There, which has aired in Spain, Mexico, the U.S. and the format has been sold to Russia and Ukraine. Extreme Challenge is an adventure documentary series about a mountain climber. There are also three new telenovelas from Plural: Let Me Take You, Feeling and My Love. TVE highlights the fiction series Gran Reserva and Pelotas. Vertice Sales is spotlighting the doc series A World Apart, an expedition around the world. Amor de Dios is a further title of note.
